Entre Midi Et Deux - Aix-en-Provence

In a town with a lot of touristy restaurants this is a lively local place where most of the clients live or work nearby. There are nicely pressed white table clothes a pleasant surprise in an era when most places have given in to bare tables or plastic mats. There is a short menu of French cuisine and a daily dish. Prices are reasonable. The places bustles with activity. It is small so reserve ahead if you want to go.

Great food plat du jour and desert served in busy restaurant frequented by locals. Real breath of fresh air from the tourist places and standard menu. Highly recommend

My wife spotted this tiny restaurant as we strolled past the outside dining area and decided that this might be a good place to stop for a limited menu fixed-price lunch. This two-person kitchen and one waitress restaurant were a wonderful and exciting experience. for lunch. We sat inside and had a great view of this amazingly efficient operation. The food came out quickly, hot and delicious and as hard as they all worked, their smiles never left their faces. I was also impressed when the owner-chef came to our table to thank us for coming in. Although tipping is not customary, I left an unusually large well-deserved tip.

Came here as we were recommended by serious foodie, and were not disappointed. Simple restaurant but you don't need much here as the couple are just lovely, charming, welcoming and they work very hard for their money. The food is excellent, home cooked Provence cuisine and daily menu is available, freshness guaranteed. Mostly local people and some you can tell they come most days and have their "own seats". Love the atmosphere and I will certainly here when I come to Aix from London. Best of luck to the owners who run the show, you have my deep admiration.

Excellent lunch for reasonable price; once we had couscous and yesterday 2 kinds of fish with mixed vegetables and rice. I had the steak tartare with frites. why such big frites? Pourquoi les frites si grosses? Un point négative!a bit of hectic service. Some get a toast with tapenade, we didn't; some get rosé immediatly we didn't. No problem we drank less. The maman does it all and it was too much.we will certainly go back as it is excellent quality. Only open at lunch
