The Crown And Turtle Pub - Ailsa Craig

We stopped at this pub in Ailsa Craig for lunch and were not disappointed. It is an amazing place with really clean wall hangings and an aclectic feeling as if you are sitting in a 200-year-old pub. I wondered how long it was in candidacy, and a local said only 6 years. On the menu was a lot of real pub-style food. We both made ourselves for the house meat loaf with potatoes, gravy and green and yellow beans. Was served in a small cast iron cell. Absolutley stellar spot in this small village! Food is great and affordable! Would recommend anyone that loves a small town pub to check it out!
