Tokyo Grill - Aiken

The shrimp fried rice consists of rice with three to four shrimp. The menu prices have gone up, with wings now priced at $1.80 each, up from $5.99 for 50 wings to $8 and change. The dinner menu states the price as $8.55, but it actually costs $11.15. The prices seem to increase by $3 to $4 each time we visit, and the portion size remains the same. The honey lemon pepper wings are delicious, and the vegetable rice is good as long as it is fresh.

Although I have not actually eaten here, I must say that the restaurant appears to be very disorganized based on my experience. It took 10 minutes for me to even be seated and asked for my order after standing in front of the changing partition. Then, I had to stand there again 38 minutes later before someone finally informed me that my meal was ready. The sushi chef looked at my order and then took a few more minutes to prepare my sushi. Despite the fact that I visited later in the evening when they were not busy, the total time between ordering and receiving my food was 8:05pm. While I cannot comment on the quality of the food, I must say that the service was incredibly poor.

I went to order three hibachi dinner meals to go. I requested two steak and shrimp with extra rice and vegetables, and another with extra rice and vegetables. Unfortunately, my order was mixed up - I received a meal with chicken instead of shrimp and a meal with extra rice but no extra vegetables. I was disappointed with the mistake and the inconsistency in the quality of the food compared to my previous visit. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

I eat here pretty regularly and I must say, every time the food is perfect. Warm, tasty, great serving sizes and the staff is always so sweet. I actually came to review this restaurant to give full credit to Sydnie for my amazing visit. This time and before she always has the best attitude towards her customers and makes sure they are fully taken care of, no matter how busy she gets. This girl does a wonderful job and deserves any kind of recognition or praise y’all could give her. Thank you sydnie for being a ray of sunshine in all the people you come across!

Been eating here for years. Quality of food is excellent. Only place l order sushi in Aiken, and their chicken wings are cooked perfectly! Staff is very friendly and know their repeat customers very well. If you call and they don’t pick up, keep trying for they are very busy! 5/5 easily. Thank you, Tokyo Grill!
