Brass Monkey Sports Grill

I visited Brass Monkey without a reservation, hoping to enjoy a nice meal. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of dreadful. The moment I walked in, it was clear the staff couldn’t care less about accommodating walk-ins. I waited at the entrance, completely ignored by the host, who seemed more interested in chatting with coworkers than acknowledging potential customers. After what felt like ages, I tried to get someone’s attention, only to be told rudely that they were “too busy” to seat me and didn’t know when a table would be available. No offer to wait, no courtesy, nothing. The attitude was dismissive and made it clear that without a reservation, you simply don’t matter. I asked for a table and the answer was “ SIT WHATEVER” . I left frustrated and disappointed. I won’t be trying my luck here again—there are plenty of other places that know how to treat their customers right.

My honest opinion of the Brass Monkey Tavern as of 2019? Is that they need help, so maybe instead of dining there, you should just go work there.

Great food! Cheap beers! Good tunes! Crowd is a little on the older side. Still had a good meal and the atmosphere was chill.

If you like the gringo atmosphere... It's a type of American bar... I love it

Mr. Kevin made this experience so wonderful! He made us laugh the entire time and my husband and I both said it was the best service we've had in years.
