Abita Springs Cafe

We go to church right by the Cafe and finally decided to stop in today. I'm sorry we waited so long to do so. All of the portions were very large. Double cheese and bacon burger was excellent. Onion ring appetizer was awesome. 1 lb of Fried catfish on the platter could easily feed 2. Carrot souffle was almost as good as my own. Service was extremely friendly. Definitely go back again and again.

I was recommended to go to this restaurant by Ms. Katie Bridges at the Farmers' Market, and I'm glad she did. My wife and I had a very good breakfast on the front porch, and the service was fast and friendly. Highly recommended!

I really love this place. The perfect small town café with great service, great food and around good cozy feeling. I had a simple cheeseburger and it was cooked for perfection. Really one of the best burgers I've ever eaten.

Our waitress, Alise, was exceptional—everything you could hope for in a server. She was genuinely pleasant, articulate, helpful, and always checked in at just the right moments. The prices were reasonable and definitely worth it. They also offer lovely outdoor table service when the weather permits. My son and his family make it a point to dine here every time they are on the North Shore. I hope you enjoy this place as much as we did!

The chicken and waffles are large, and their Eggs Benedict is among the best I've had. The service is excellent, and it's a charming small-town spot. I make sure to visit every time I'm in the area.
