Excellent restaurant 5 minutes' walk from the center. Good space, well-complicated menu, first class preparation and service. Affordable prices and quiet and harbour area. We got today's pickles, which was a nice red stick and the lady got star shoots of the slightly more exciting editions. Otherwise French inspired restaurant.

..heck! We actually went to visit another restaurant in the area. The out of the blue this place appears. From the outside it looks very cosy. With temperatures around 30, We decided to be seated outside. Great ambiance and atmosphere just next to the harbour and hundreds of sail ships. Great lunch menu includes a lot of fish etc. Service understaffed. However the young waiter det good. Would probably be back to try the dinner, and the inside of the restaurant. Looked very nice with the maritime atmosphere. Restrooms extremely clean as everything else.

This place once was quite good, I dined there several years ago, and had a top notch experience. How things have changed..!!! I was there again in December 2021 for a meant to be fancy dinner experience. Alas .. where to start...??!! incompetent and/or indifferent staff, right from waiter, to cooks, to the manager I subsequently complained to. Appetizer Oysters where tiny, and not fresh. Main course servings very, very small and then they claimed to simply not have bread to serve with the food, because the cook had screwed up on the baking procedure ... go figure. (bread plates and separate butter knives remained on the table none the less). Gravy for main course was lukewarm, gravy dish was downright cold. We sat in a cold draft throughout our meal, staff did nothing about it when we complained about it, didn 't turn up heat, didn 't offer us a different table, nothing...! we ended up wearing our outdoor coats inside the restaurant throughout the meal, staff didn 't seem to even take notice. List goes on. we left the restaurant hungry, and paid a hefty bill for the ordeal. After subsequently complaining to the manager about it, all she offered as compensation was a gift certificate for yet another meal there, worth a fraction of what we had originally spent ... arguing that they had had expenses and we had been served things to drink. In short, don 't be fooled by the beautiful location of Restaurant Anker...! The place stinks ... service and food is sub standard, and you pay top dollars for the ordeal.

Vi har netop spist en virkelig veltilberedt blæksprutte. Mør og blød indeni, sprødstegt udenpå. Ledsaget af en lækker cremet hvidløgssauce og grillede peberfrugter sendte det tankerne mod skønne steder i Portugal. Fin service og smukt lokale ved kajkanten.
