Wayne's Coffee - Aalesund

Lovely lemon cheesecake muffin and tasty cinnamon bread. The veggie pesto sandwich was divine. One of the best Vegetarian dishes in Alesund, Norway. Coffee and a Hot chocolate was good. Awesome ambience and fairly priced items on the menu as compared to the exhorbitant rates in Norway.

Good service, nice coffee and croissant. Seating area above average with okay toilets although gents needed paper hand towels but there is a blower. In ladies hand drier did not work but there were paper towels I am told.

Whomever gave Wayne’s Coffee more than 2* probably also thinks Starbucks coffee tastes good. I gave it 2 because it’s not possible to give a half star, otherwise it would be 1.5* I qualify this coffee tasting under “I took one for the team”. I sampled the Flat white. The description was good: a triple(! espresso with warm creamy milk. The execution was bad! Tasted like a watered down espresso with too much milk. The coffee, that could be tasted in the distance, had a vague Ammoniak after taste and a dark burned coffee taste. Not to be repeated. I am hopeful this town has better coffee. My search continues.

Not very clean. I ordered waffle but it wasn't fresh. Few years ago this place was better.
