The specialty seems to be the Yuzu Miso-flavored Katsudon. It was freshly fried and crispy. It's a bit disappointing that there was less meat and more batter, but that may be because they used thin cuts of meat to begin with. Other popular items include the Okayama Ramen and Chicken Don set. One interesting thing about this service area is that you can buy Hakata specialty Tebasaki (chicken wings). They are crispy and delicious when eaten cold. It was a perfect late-night snack on the way to the inn. The restroom was also fairly clean, so I think it's a good spot for a restroom break as well.
West Japan Service Area Special, No.1 in the morning division. The kombu salmon is a cut above. They warm it up for you, making it even better. The miso soup is enough for two servings when you add hot water (lol).
