The restaurant, previously known as Lawson Poplar, has now reopened as Pop Bento. They offer bento boxes for dine-in or takeout.

I ordered the negiyaki for lunch as I wanted something light. It had just the right amount and despite being thin, it was full of flavor. Next time, I want to go to eat a hearty okonomiyaki!

Before the pandemic last year, I would often stop by on my way home from night shifts. At that time, it was not Lawson, but Poplar. Most of the time, it was around 3 am and the number of customers... I wonder what the store employees were feeling. In the summer nights, you could occasionally see cars passing by. I no longer visit the convenience store late at night since I retired, but I still find myself driving around near it, drawn in by the full moon. All the employees who served me, even late at night, were always friendly. There are quite a few places that are not like that. I had a nostalgic feeling for Poplar Okagaki Serita Store. It was renovated and became Lawson, and it's become more popular. It seems like the threshold has become higher for someone like me, a man with a lack of common sense.
