Maybe I’m just paranoid and grossed out by the x contamination but my food was pretty bad (udon noodle oko) my husbands was a little better (soba oko). Communication was limited and I dunno. I just don’t vibe it. Tasted like egg. And smelt in there.
When booking a table and informed I was vegan, they say it was okay. However, once I sat down, I double checked the ingredients with them. I showed them the vegan green card (in Japanese) and sadly they told me it was not possible to cater for me... Not sure what animal derived product they use but their vegan options don't seem to be vegan sadly.
After a short waiting period we got a table. You can choose whether you are vegetarian/vegan and also say whether with/without egg or dairy products. Food was very delicious.
The boys are gorgeous and delicious food, super recommended. A great vegan okonomiyaki 700yen. More than recommended (ps1: mayonnaise is not vegan, I understood it when they brought it to the table, instead they have the vegetarian okonomiyaki sauce and that not: Ps2: It is much better if you sit at the table with heated plate because if you settle at a table without bringing the food a little mixed and it cools even quickly.
